Our program offers training in General Sonography (abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN), Vascular Sonography (blood flow and circulatory system), and Cardiac Sonography (echocardiography of the heart).
The length of the program is 12 months, including clinical rotations.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and are encouraged to complete coursework in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. A completed application, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement are also required. Some applicants may be invited to interview.
No prior healthcare experience is required, though it can be beneficial. Our program is designed to accommodate students from a variety of backgrounds.
